I’ve been searching the ‘net looking for photos of our gigs—here’s what I’ve found so far:-
If you know of any more pictures of the band, please let me know!
Yesterday night at the Blues Bar, we had the first (and probably the only) public showing of the DVD of “the Wizard of Bloz”—a farcical amateur pantomime production put together for fun and in haste, that ran for one night only, just before Christmas… with all proceeds going to charity.
A giant cardboard cheque for £2000 was presented to a representative from Harrogate Hospital’s Special Care Baby Unit last week, and the photo should be in the local paper later this week.
The ‘official’ Bloz photos (professionally shot by Andrew Sandiford) are available for purchase in photographic print format (with proceeds going to charity), and, for your viewing pleasure, there are also some other photos capturing the event beautifully too. With wonders never ceasing to amaze: we’ve even had a review!
Copies of the movie will soon be available for purchase on DVD-style shiny disc, to be taken home and treasured forever.
Bah! I set myself up a weblog and rush in to get myself a ‘first post’ as fast as I can… only to find I’m beaten by an autogenerated ‘Hello world!’ message.
It’s like some kind of bad in-joke that can (maybe) only be understood by programmers who read slashdot… oh, the irony! (/me ducks and runs)
